Novice Aces go 1-1 over the weekend.
The Novice Perth Auto Dismantlers Aces played 2 very exciting hockey games on the weekend. On Saturday, the Aces skated, passed and scored their way to a solid victory as they defeated Zorra Fusion 6-0 on home ice.
Sienna Wildgust got the shut-out and was supported strongly in front of her net by the defense. Avery Nickel and Clara Schuster led the scoring with 2 goals each and Hailey Scott and Megan Bach each added one. Belle Houle, Brooklyn Chadwick, Addisyn Reinecker and Olivia Harding supported the team with great passes and an assist each. On Sunday, the Aces lost a well-matched and hard-fought game against the St. Marys Rock 2-1. Hailey Scott scored the lone goal for the Aces in the final minutes of the game. A strong effort from all players kept the fans excited for the entire game.
