Stratford Best Western the Parlour suffered a loss to top place Cambridge Roadrunners Black on Sunday. Best Western gave up a goal on a powerplay by Cambridge late in the first period. In the seond Best Western successfully killed off two shorthanded situations to stay in the game. Taylor Hotson rang one off the post for Stratford and other opportunities just didn't bounce there way. In the third Cambridge scored on their second powerplay attempt of the period with a shot to the top left hand. Jessica Wynne had a strong forechecking game for Best Western. Julia Cairns kept the game close with a busy effort in net.
