On Sunday, The Stratford Atomic 1's met Cambridge for the second game of their back to back series. The girls came out hard but unfortunately at 6:38 of the first period, Cambridge managed to squeak a goal by Sammy Orr. For the next period and a bit the game was end to end. During this time, Sammy Orr calmly paddled countless shots to the corner to keep her team in the game. Then at 8:04 of the third, Zoe Hill ripped a shot in the far corner of the Cambridge net, off a pass from Sam Brown. Hill's goal tied the score at 1-1. Stratford continued to press for the remainder of the game but the Cambridge goaltender was up to the task ending the game in a 1-1 tie. Special mention goes to Sam Brown who had a very strong game on defence making numerous smart plays.
