Novice Timbit 2's Advance to KW House League Finals. In a very tight game, Novice Timbit 2's defeated the Ayr Rockets to advance to the Novice Championship in Kitchener.
The first period was scoreless and choppy as both teams battled stomachs full of butterflies. The second period looked to be more of the same with end to end unsteady play. However with 2:51 remaining in the second Grace Glosnek slammed the puck home with an assist going to Samantha Orr.
Ayr found they legs early in the third and managed to flip the momentum and score two quick goals. At 9:28 of the third Timbit 2's found their game with Ella Smith scoring from Glosnek and Maia Stephan. Two minutes later, the 2's were back and pressing again when Glosnek took a pass from Lena Cassone and Olivia Watts and parked the park in the far corner of the net. The 2's did not let up and with 2:51 remaining in the game Meg Feore bought the team insurance with a one timer from Lexi White and Ella Smith.
