The Stratford Aces Bantam HL team played thier first game of the season in Ayr this past weekend defeating the Rockets 2-1. After a scorless 1st period Hannah Nemeth opened the scoring at 8:48 of the 2nd with a helper to Emily Stephan. In the back and forth game Ayr scored the equalizer at 4:27 of the 3rd. The bantams responded by putting one into the back of the net less than 30 seconds later to go back into the lead. Scoring the winning goal Katie Gansevles with assists going to Natalie Dale and Nemeth.
