Aces Online Awards Banquet Day 13
Submitted By Jan Ballantyne on Wednesday, April 15, 2020
Perth Auto Dismantlers Midget A
The Stratford Midget A Aces were on an impressive run in the playoffs suffering only one loss over there last 11 games (9 playoff games) as they marched toward their goals. After an injury filled season that saw the team play with essentially two lines from October until February the team still managed to finish in a tie for 5th place in their division. The team was seeded 6th due to tie breakers. However as Playoffs began

the team became as healthy as they had been all season and were a force.

After dispatching 3rd seeded Woodstock in round 1 the ladies beat out 2nd seeded North Halton in round 2 and were set to face Kitchener in the finals before the season was suspended. In addition the ladies went unbeaten in Playdown’s and qualified to represent the region at Provincials.

The coaches would like to thank our sponsors, fans, parents and especially the players for the season. More laughs than tears, more wins than losses what more could you ask for. A special thank you to Landis King, Lily Daum, Shelby Foster and Valerie Wolf our graduating players who will be missed and were robbed of a story book ending for their minor hockey careers.

To the rest lets finish business next season! GO ACES

Ace of the Team- Raelyn Pennington
Most Offensive Player- Paige Chebott
Most Defensive Player - Shelby Foster
Most Improved Player - Dana Jantzi
