Aces support the Stratford Glam Exchange
Submitted By Jason Clarke on Friday, June 1, 2018
The Stratford Glam Exchange is preparing to roll out its inaugural year with the goal of providing a beautiful dress to a student who may otherwise not be able to afford one for their prom or graduation.

We believe every young person should feel they can attend their special event wearing a beautiful dress of their own in confidence. This project is tailored after similar initiatives in other communities.  If you have a new or gently worn special event dress taking up valuable space in your closet or in storage, we ask that you donate that formal dress to the Stratford Glam Exchange so that a student in the community that cannot afford a dress may be able to attend their prom or graduation in style.

We are looking forward to our first dress collection and appreciate your donation.  All dresses can be delivered to the front counter at the Stratford Police Station.  We will take inventory and clean all dresses.

Next spring, we will host a day for the Stratford Glam Exchange and invite those students in the community that are in need of support to attend and find the perfect dress for their special event. We are currently also looking for Community Partners who are able to assist in making this a special event for everyone involved.

Please contact us at [email protected] with any questions, or if you would like to contribute to this exciting initiative.
