Aces Day - Nov 12th 2023
We are looking forward to our Annual Aces Day on November 12th 2023!
This event is one of the highlights in the Aces calendar, bringing together our community in celebration of girls' hockey and fostering camaraderie, sportsmanship and personal development. At Aces Day, all of our Aces teams will be taking to the ice, showcasing their talent, determination and teamwork. It's a day of competition and celebration, providing a platform for the girls to shine and bond with their teammates.
The day kicks off with Romeo Optometry's U11 C team in the battle of Highway 7 vs St Mary's Rock. Aces teams will be playing every hour of the day with two big games to cap the day, Sommer's Generator Systems U18 AAs vs Kitchener Lady Rangers (Rink A) and Taylor Fluid Systems U18BBs vs Brantford Ice Cats (Rink B).
In the spirit of giving back to our community, we have partnered with the Salvation Army Food Bank and Emily Murphy Centre to support those in need.
There are several ways the community and Aces teams can participate in making this event and our outreach even more meaningful:
1. Donate Items for the Salvation Army Food Bank and Emily Murphy Centre: We are collecting non-perishable food items, clothing and other essentials for both of these causes. Your contribution will go a long way in supporting these essential community services!
2. Bid on a Silent Auction Item: Local businesses and community members have been generous enough to donate some packages of good, services and experiences for the community to bid on during the day of Nov 12th! Don't miss out!
