This put the Aces in the semi final against the North Halton Twisters.  The Aces again came out with a lot of energy but it was clear early this game was going to be a battle won in the trenches.  The Twisters had a size advantage and weren't afraid to use it but the Aces wouldn't back down giving as good as they got.  Strong skating by the aces kept moving the puck up but individual efforts were going to be hard to come by against North Halton as they could skate with the Aces who normally have a good speed advantage.  However, after an Aces penalty and and a great job on the PK by Paisley Stevens the Aces went MacIntosh to Michel to Willemsen for a 1-0 lead on a fantastic goal.  Penalties were flying right and left on this one, and the Aces got a great opportunity 5 on 3 but couldn't put together a very effective Powerplay unfortunately.  After a bad clearing attempt by the aces sending the puck across the ice, the Twisters stepped in for a long shot that eluded Feller for a tie game 1-1.  The Aces and Twisters continued to trade chances and Neumeister almost broke in spooling up with the puck at her blueline but just had it stolen at the last minute.  Avery Kelly and Verellen were doing a great job using their size to help the Aces downlow to keep the game tied.  However, a bang bang play out front and the Twisters took a 2-1 lead on the ensuing scramble.  Another Aces PP 5 on 3 resulted in a few chances but no goals.  Then off a faceoff in the third, the Twisters went up 3-1 with a quick shot that handcuffed Feller.  The Aces continued to show the heart and grit they did all tournament by not giving up and with the goalie pulled late in the third, Willemsen put the puck out front from behind the North Halton net to Glitz who continued her hot hands of the tournament to roof the shot and give the Aces a chance only down one 3-2.  A few more chances but there just wasn't enough time and the Aces finished their tourney in the semis but it wasn't for lack of effort.  As the girls came off the ice, you could see they wanted it but they knew they had left it all on the ice for an end to a great first tournament.
