Notes
The Lady Aces faced league rivals the Lucknow Legends at home Saturday night. Stratford got out to a quick start with Kim Schlattman firing a tidy bar-down goal 20 seconds in. Katie Macsorley followed soon after rifling the Aces second goal of the night only 3 minutes later. The Senior B Aces held on to the 2 goal lead heading into the second period. Lucknow wasn’t ready to lay down yet and scored twice in the second to send the game into the third all tied up. The chippy Lucknow team took 14 minutes in penalties in the third period but Stratford was unable to capitalize on special teams. The score remained tied 2-2 to end the game. Stratford has 2 road games next weekend to finish out the first half of a strong season.
