The Stratford Lady Aces faced off against Monkton in SOWHL action Saturday night. Monkton struck first but Stratford was able to answer back before the end of the first with a goal from Katie MacSorley assisted by Shelby Van Klooster. Stratford was scoreless in the second period while Monkton tallied two more. The Lady Aces dug deep and found the back of the net three times in the third to continue their season long unbeaten streak. Katie Macsorley added a second goal to her night while Lauren Osborne had a goal and an assist in the win. Courtney Downham notched the game winner. The Lady Aces hit the ice again this weekend as they attempt to defend their title in the Stratford Aces Festival Cup Challenge Tournament.
