The Downie Optimist Midget A Aces started the season with a strong showing at the Oakville Hornets Harvest Classic tournament this week-end. The Aces won their first two games on Friday, but then fell to a strong Ancaster team Saturday morning. Because of the two wins, the Aces advanced to the quater final game on Saturday evening, but lost to Mississauga. The girls made a great start to their season and look forward to bonding more as a team and putting together some more wins when league play starts.
