Schedule & Results, Midget B, 2016-2017 (Stratford Aces Girls Hockey)

The Midget B Aces kept their winning streak alive with a 2-0 victory over the Kincardine Kinucks in game 1 of the LLFHL finals at Molson Saturday night. Erin Kuepher took a pass from Liz Drake just over the Aces' blueline and zipped through the Kinuck defense to go bar down for the 1-0 lead late in the first. Midway through the second, Vienna Meinen chipped the puck on the boards to Katie Berg who snapped home a glove side rocket to put the Aces up 2-0. Tasia Reynen arguably played her best game of the season to record the shutout. The entire Ace team played a smart, no panic, game to take the series lead.
