Notes
The Perth Auto Dismantlers Novice C Aces ended their appearance at the Mitchell Minor Girls Hockey Tournament this weekend by beating the North Halton Twisters 8 to 1 and taking gold. In their second game against each other this weekend both teams started out strong. The Aces however established early they were here to win. Mckenzie Parsons scored the first two goals on assists by Cassie Richardson and Lila Mortimer. Paige Campbell scored next on a wrap around pass from Aveleen Flood. Mckenzie and Aveleen both earned hat tricks today, unassisted, on goals four, five, six and eight. Congratulations Mckenzie on her first hat trick of the season. Olivia Rau scored the seventh goal, unassisted to round out the final score at 8. This game wasn’t without its difficulties as the Aces showed their strength by killing two penalties, with Olivia and Aveleen scoring shorthanded during these penalty kills. Congratulations to all the girls for your first tournament win.
