Schedule & Results, Stratford Kinsmen Senior B, 2013-2014 (Stratford Aces Girls Hockey)

Stratford Kinsmen Senior B Aces skated to a 1-1 tie Saturday night against the Woodstock Wildcats. The first period was scoreless with goal tender Allison Rutledge making an endless string of saves against the undefeated Wildcats team. The second period saw the games first penalty on which the Wildcats capitalized with the man advantage. One minute later the Aces responded on a power play of their own to tie the game with only 2 minutes remaining in the second period. Alicia Kuntze netted the Aces only goal with assists awarded to Tara Chadwick and Janelle Krug. In spite of a 2 man Wildcat advantage late in the third; the score remained locked at 1. The tie forced the championship series to a third and final game to be played next Saturday in Woodstock.
