The Accumetal Bantam A Aces won thier first game of the provincial playdown best of 5 game series, beating St.Mary's Rock 3-1. After a scoreless first period at the Allman Arena, Megan Rauser opened the scoring 1:33 into the second period assised by Tessa Deighton. The Rock's Rebecca Knarr assisted by Erin Lucas and Jordan Jarrett evened up the game 3 minutes later. Stratford got the go ahead goal in the third with Erin Kuepfer finding the bck of the net. Helpers went to Madeline Corrie and Anna Mohr. St.Mary's went for the extra attacker but the Aces were able to get the puck. Getting the insurance marker was Mohr assisted by Deighton.
