Festival Cup Challenge
Submitted By Jason Clarke on Sunday, November 19, 2017
The 2017 Stratford Aces Festival Cup Challenge has been completed this snowy Sunday evening. On behalf of the Stratford Aces Girls Hockey Association I wanted to publicly thank our executive members and parent volunteers for the countless hours dedicated to making the weekend a successful one. I would also like to thank the numerous game officials who made the weekend work including referees and all our student timekeepers.

We hosted 97 teams and over 1400 players in 228 games this weekend. I would like to thank all the associations, players, coaches and parents for selecting Stratford as a stop in your 2017/2018 season plans. I hope you enjoyed our City of Stratford and surrounding area. As the president of the organization I spent the weekend watching and talking hockey with many people from visiting teams as well as Stratford residents. Some very positive comments and excellent conversations. We the Aces association were very impressed at the level of respect shown by the participating players, coaching staff's and parents enjoying the games.

We would like to congratulate all tournament winners on your success. Our hope is that you will re attend our tournament in the future. I again would like to thank you for attending and hope you were all able to travel home safely.
