The Aces are thrilled to announce our head coaches for the upcoming 2025-26 season across several of our divisions.
We are excited to have these dedicated individuals lead our teams and continue to foster skill development, teamwork, and a love for the game.
U9B - Head Coach: Matt Roberts
Returning for another season with the U9 squad, Matt Roberts is dedicated to making hockey a fun and engaging experience for every player. With two years of experience coaching at this level, his philosophy focuses on fostering a love for the game, skill development, and teamwork. Matt values team bonding and inclusion, emphasizing activities like skills sessions, and Aces Day. He also highlights the importance of female representation in coaching roles. His core values—have fun, show respect, and never give up—guide his structured practices and game strategies, ensuring a positive and supportive environment for all players.
U11C - Head Coach: Terry Adair
Terry Adair will be leading the U11C team this season. With a strong focus on effort and attitude, Terry believes in fostering a positive and supportive team culture. He emphasizes the importance of being a good teammate, keeping one’s head up regardless of the outcome, and always striving to improve. As an assistant coach in previous seasons, Terry is eager to take on the head coach role and bring his experience to this age group, ensuring that every player grows both on and off the ice.
U13BB - Head Coach: Josh Bohnen
Josh Bohnen will be coaching the U13BB team, bringing his high-paced coaching style to the rink. He runs intense, skill-focused practices while maintaining a positive and inclusive environment. Josh believes in building a strong sense of belonging and identity for his players, ensuring they continue developing both their skills and their love for hockey. Having previously coached many of these players, he is excited to continue aiding in their development and fostering a close-knit team that competes hard while having fun.
U18BB - Head Coach: Chris Taylor
Chris Taylor takes the helm for the U18BB team this season. With over 10 years of experience in the Aces organization, Chris has held multiple coaching roles and has been instrumental in developing young athletes. His enthusiasm, deep hockey knowledge, and commitment to player growth make him an excellent leader for this team. Chris is motivated to bring the U18BB team to the next level and is excited to make his final season coaching with the Aces a memorable one. His experience and dedication will be invaluable as he guides the team through a competitive and rewarding season.
