First Round of Playoffs Come to an End
This past weekend the Stratford Perth Auto Dismantlers Novice B Aces finished off their first round of playoffs against South Huron. The Aces played their hearts out but were unable to advance. 

On Friday February 9th the Aces played at home against South Huron. The girls were excited to play at home and came out strong, scoring 4 minutes into the first period. Emersyn Miller scored a beautiful goal putting it top corner. Assists came from Keira Blain and Emma Van Nes. South Huron would come out strong in the second, scoring to tie it up 1-1. The Aces had many chances but were unable to score to take the lead. The game ended in a 1-1 tie, with each team having 2 points in the series. Ace of the Game went to Emersyn Miller and Defensive Ace of the Game went to Linley Porter.

On Saturday February 10th it was do or die for both the Aces and South Huron. Someone had to win the game in order to move on to the next round. The Aces played well, pushing through the tough play and battling hard. South Huron would score to make it 1-0. The girls never gave up, they continued to play and cheer hard, but the girls were unable to score. Both the coaches and trainers are so proud of their hard play throughout the playoffs. Ace of the Game went to Claire Donnelly and Defensive Ace of the Game went to Teresa Schuster.
