NotesThe Cooper Standard Bantam BB Aces took part in the Woodstock Wildcats tournament this past weekend. The aces posted a 1-2-1 record over their four games. Thursday night vs Woodstock beat the host 2-0. Goals scored by Aysha Machan and Clara Sangster. Friday night the Aces lost a close game to Kitchener 3-2. Goals by Machan and Marin Delaney. Saturday the Aces fell to North Halton 3-0. Sunday the Aces finished the weekend with a 1-1 tie vs Kent County with Sangster scoring for Stratford. Kayley Thompson and Shelby Foster had solid weekends in net sharing the duties. Sophie Bogdon, Rachel Mills, Kaeley Dunseith, Chloe Loerzel and Keeley Park were solid defensively. Marissa Van der Ploeg, Aalia Gade, Emma Gansevles, Neely Clarke, Jillian Pitts and Madi McKinley battled hard up front for the Aces. Emmah Douglas was sidelined for the weekend with a concussion but played an important support role for her teammates. Five games remain in the Aces regular season.
