Aces Lose To Jets Goalie
On Wednesday night in Komoka the All Equip Peewee B Aces lost 2-1 in their league game against the Ilderton Jets.
After one period of play the Aces had 11 shots on the the Jets tender with no goals to show for it. The score was 0-0 at the end of this period.
In the second still holding a lopsided lead in shots the Aces had two blunders that ended up as goals. Emma Ivey did what she could to keep the puck out of her net but could not do much to stop the two Jets goals.
It took until just under 8 minutes to go in the game and the 32nd shot for the Aces to score. Mihret Eliasziw scored with the assist going to Makena Kyer. Even with the push on and many more shots on the Ilderton goalie the Aces could not pull out the tie.
