The Atom A Aces started off their Provincial run with a win on Friday afternoon. The girls hit the ice as if they were on a mission against a strong Toronto Leaside team. Both teams were held scoreless until the third period when Stratford's Brooklyn Rau popped one in the net. Natalie Weinheimer followed up three minutes later with the Ace's second of the game assisted by Tori Gavin. The girls held Toronto back and Stratford's goalie Skyler Stockie recorded her first shut-out of the tournament.

The Atom A Aces, clinched the final playoff spot in their division after two exciting games played on Sunday. Stratford was sitting in 9th spot in their division, which allows only 8 teams to move on to the playoff rounds heading into this final regular season weekend.

After a long 2 week layoff, the Stratford Atom Aces sponsored by the Egg Farmers of Ontario, played in the Guelph Storm Tournament this past week-end and were excited to bring home the silver medal!

The girls capped off a busy week-end with a well deserved and long awaited win on Sunday!! We started off on Friday night with a trip to Cambridge, where they battled to a 0-0 tie against the first place Roadrunners. The entire team played extremely well, and proved they could contend with the division leaders.
