2023 Stratford Aces Festival Cup Challenge
The Stratford Aces would like to thank all teams for a great weekend of hockey!
Over the weekend we were able to see some amazing hockey from the 1st puck drop Friday morning at 8:00AM to the last buzzer Sunday night!
The tournament was a huge success thanks to many people. A huge thank you to Jamie Antonio, Darcy Helson & Sean Cameron for their help in the tournament office all weekend long. Thank you Tyler Devereaux for all your help throughout the weekend, especially on Sunday at the Complex.
Thank you to all the executive members who opened the arenas each morning or handed out medals on Sunday.
Thank you to all the parent volunteers who worked at the arena desks.
Thank you to the arena staff for helping keep the tournament on time pretty much all weekend long and for dealing with any hiccups along the way.
Thank you to all the timekeepers for sitting in the cold arenas for many hours.
A very special thank you to Luke Devereaux. Luke helped us in the tournament office every minute (and more) that his parents would allow him to be at the rink. Every little task we asked Luke to do, he did it with a huge smile on his face. We couldn't have done it without you Luke!
Congratulations to all the teams who made it to play on Sunday. We some some exiting finishes! The 3 on 3 overtimes were very exciting, and as much as we hate to see a game end in a shootout, they are fun to watch too.
