Aces U11B Weekend Recap
Aces went up against the Ilderton Jets Saturday morning. The girls managed to hold the score 0-0 for the first period. Early on in the second Rae made an outstanding breakaway save to keep them in the game. Unfortunately the gears started slipping in the second and the game ended 5-0 for the Jets.
Sunday saw a great game played at the Pyramid Centre against the St. Mary's Rock. Thompson, Helson, Price, and Williams played an excellent defensive game clearing pucks in front of the Aces net left right and center. Nickel had a strong game with not one but two breakaways. Score was 0-0 going into the third. The girls worked hard in the third with Porter seeing another breakaway opportunity. Game ended 1-0 for the Rock.
