Vaccination requirements
OWHA’s Board of Directors have informed us that they will be requiring (subject to any additional developments in this area) that, as a condition of participation in the OWHA, players and other participants who were born before 2010 be fully vaccinated.
In consultation with Hockey Canada and the local health units, this important decision was made to ensure the safety and protection of all our participants. All players, coaches, officials, staff and volunteers must be fully vaccinated.
Please check back to the website often as we are still awaiting details on how this is to be implemented and tracked and will update the website as we receive information.
If you will not be able to comply with the above, then we recommend you withdraw from our program now in order to receive a full refund. Once our season starts, there will be a deduction from your fees for refunds.
