Wexeter Whispers Calm the Sabres Home Ice Advantage, Aces Cruise to 4-0 Win
Emotional Revenge match sets the Stage for the best of 3 Final Showdown Sunday at The Duff

The Stratford PeeWee C Aces have set the stage for a showdown Sunday after defeating the South Huron Sabres 4-0, taking the second game in a best of 3 pool final in the WOGHL Thursday night. Powered by the strength of Lydia McLaughlin and her punching offensive line, the Aces flew out of the gates, looking to right the ship after a devastating loss 2-1 Wednesday evening where the Ace offence could not solve a hot Sabres netminder.  Early on the intensity was high as the Exeter officiating pushed the Aces into a 5 on 3 situation.  It was brilliantly defended helping to propel the Aces to the continual and persistent battery of the Sabre net. Goals came from Mclaughlin and her line mates Selina Gethke and a pair from Leighton Nickel. The series is deadlocked at a game a piece with Game 3 back on home ice Sunday at 3 pm at the Dufferin Arena in Stratford.
