First win comes on Aces Day
This team has been working hard at practices and it finally paid off when the Stratford Aces Atom C played against St Marys Rock Atom C on Nov 10th for Aces Day. Stratford earned their first win of the season. The game was very exciting to watch. The strength of this game is credited to each girl playing their position. Way to go Atom C!

We have played St Marys a few times and it was exciting to see how much our team has improved with each player covering their position and working hard. Congratulations to Hallie for scoring the first goal of the game with Claire getting her first assist of the season. Mira Broughton got a great break away and scored with 1 second left in the 2nd period which put our team in the lead. Vitorria Brander earned our teams third goal and Hallie Turpin scoring our 4th goal with Claire Turner getting another assist. This was a victory that is well deserved because of everyone's hard work. Keep up the great effort girls!

We'd also like to recognize the following point earners from the last few games:

Oct 22 against Woodstock: Vitorria Brander scored the first goal of this game with Selina Gethke picking up the assist. Then Hallie Turpin scored our 2nd goal with Gianna Nickel picking up the assist. We tied this game 2-2.

Oct 28 against St Marys Rock: Congratulations to Hallie Turpin for earning us a goal in this game with Leighton Whetstone picking up the assist. It was a great game despite losing 3-1.

Nov 2 against Lambton Attack: We had Vitorria Brander score the games first goal with Mira Broughton picking up the assist. Hallie Turpin got the second goal with Jessica Lerch helping with the assist. The final goal for our team was made by Vitorria with Hallie getting the assist. We tied this game 3-3.

Nov 3 against West Oxford: Chloe Pethick got a great break away and got the first goal of the game. Vitorria Brander earned our second goal with Makinlee Phillips getting the assist. It was a fun game to watch despite the 8-2 loss.

Thank you to Makinlee Phillips, Claire Turner and Selina Gethke for doing a great job playing goalie for our games.

We are proud of everyone on the team and so excited to see the progress. Congrats on earning your first win on Aces Day!
