A Tough Weekend
Submitted By Melissa MacArthur on Monday, November 25, 2019
After a two week break from league play, the Cooper Standard Bantam A Aces played two hard-fought games this past weekend.

The first game against a tough Cambridge team ended with a 4-1 loss. The Aces had many chances but just couldn’t put the puck into the back of the net. Meg Schoonderwoerd was the lone goal scorer, from the blue line, with assists going to Eve Greig and Anna Tigani.

The Aces met up with the Wilmot Wolverines on Sunday and learned quickly that it was going to be a fast and physical game! Wilmot scored halfway through the first period and the scored stayed that way until the middle of the third when the Wolverines scored once again. Our Aces responded shortly after with one of their own but a 2-1 score was as close as the Aces were going to get. Meg Feore recorded the goal with help from Ella VanBakel. Time to regroup and get ready for your next set of games, girls! Keep working hard!
