Aces play a grand game against the Grand River Mustangs
The Taylor Fluid Systems Aces traveled to Fergus to battle Grand River Mustangs; and battle they did. The game was one sided from the drop of the puck, pelting the Mustang goalie with shot after shot; 32 in total for the night.

Aveleen Flood had a great game and her hard work was paid off with a hat trick. The first goal was in the first period, Flood controlled the puck into the zone and froze the goalie with some fancy stick work, putting the puck five hole. The second came in the third period, Flood received a pass from VanStraaten and wired the puck top cheese. Flood’s third goal-fourth of the game-was assisted by yet another defence, Devan Taylor fed Flood the puck who was set up perfectly at the back door and made no mistake putting the puck home in a wide open cage. The third goal of the game was scored by Ella Taylor assisted by yet another defence, Kylie Fifield (all assists awarded in the game were by defence!!) E Taylor received the pass in the neutral zone, and was on a break away, she entered the offensive zone with her head up, picked her target and put the puck through the legs of the goalie. The defense played their best game thus far this season with excellent puck control and passing. The forwards were much the same, back checking like champs keeping the shots on Sloan Cameron down to only six for the game. Cameron didn’t have it as easy as it sounds…the six shots that she saved were skill testing shots and Cameron passed with flying colors-another shutout for this talented goalie. All around the entire TFS team played as one cohesive unit. Well done girls!!
