Stratford Aces Atom A Tryout Information
Parents,
Welcome to the 2019/2020 Stratford Aces Atom A tryouts.
There are a couple of things we wanted to send out prior to the first tryout on Thursday April 25th:
The first try out will take place on Thursday April 25th at 6:00 pm at Dufferin Lions arena. For the first practice, we would ask that the girl are dressed and ready to go in the change room 15 minutes prior, so we can go over the practice details with them.
Please ensure that you bring $60 for the tryout fee. Cash is the only option for this and it will be collected at the front door prior to the girl's entering the change room. If you played girls hockey, but not with the Stratford Aces last year, you must bring your permission to skate form to hand in at tryout registration.
We will be providing the girl's with a jersey with an assigned number and colour. We would ask that you please hang them up at the end of each practice and return them to the registration desk. Goalies please bring your own jersey for tryouts.
Please bring a water bottle with your name clearly marked on it.
There will be female trainers in the dressing rooms at all times. Parents can tie skates in the hall way but should not be in the dressing room at any time. There should be no males in the dressing room at any time.
For the scheduled exhibition games, please be dressed in off-ice warm up gear and running shoes 60 minutes before the start of the games. We will be posting on the website who will be dressing for each game. If you are not dressing, you are encouraged to please attend the game and cheer on the team.
Following the completion of the second tryout, player releases will be posted on the Atom A team website under the Tryout Player List tab on the left-hand side (https://aceshockey.com/Teams/1583/). This will be updated following the tryout on Sunday April 28th and will continue throughout the tryout/exhibition schedule. Webpage access and specific details will be emailed out after the skate on the April 28th and it will be updated after each skate. All players that are release are encouraged to continue with tryouts for the second Atom team.
