In their final round robin game of the tournament the Lady Aces faced a gritty & chippy team in the Clearview Ice Cats. Stratford struck first on a slick backhand by Britney McCabe assisted by Kaitlyn Bannon & Nicola Wilhelm. By the end of the first Stratford was up 2-1. The second period saw goals by each team with Katie MacSorley netting 1 of her 2 goals of the night. Emotions ran high in the 3rd period with a desperate Clearview racking up 10 PIMs. Cooler heads prevailed as the Lady Aces notched two more goals to secure the 5-2 win. Lauren Osborne had two assists in the Stratford victory.
