The Stratford Senior B Lady Aces had a tough match up Sunday evening facing the league leading Woolwich Wild. Woolwich scored first with an early goal one minute into the game. Stratford dug in and skated hard, generating lots of offensive chances but could not get on the board themselves until the 3rd period. Down 2-0. Kim Schlattman ripped an unassisted clapper to get the ball rolling. 2 minutes later, Courtney Canal followed up with a goal of her own with help from Katie MacSorley. Battling hard against a quick and gritty Woolwich team, Stratford ultimately fell 3-2 when their opponent scored with only 5 seconds remaining. Stratford heads to Durham this Sunday to continue their hunt for a playoff spot.
