Schedule & Results, Downie Optimist Midget A, U18, 2018-2019 (Stratford Aces Girls Hockey)

The Downie Optimist Midget A Aces played in the annual Aces Torunament this past weekend. In a pool of 4 Midget A teams, the Aces played North York in their first game Friday afternoon and lost 2-0. The Aces then battled back to win their second game 1-0 against the Bluewater Hawks 1-0. Ally Muir scored the lone Aces goal of the week-end! The their first game on Saturday, the Aces met up with the Brampton Canadettes and battled to a 2-0 loss, and then met up with the Canadettes again in the semi-final game on Saturday evening when they lost 2-0 again. All the games were close ones and the Aces played some great hockey, but couldn't find the net when they needed to.
