Welcome to the 2018/2019 Midget A Aces tryouts. There will be six spring tryouts involving one practice followed by five exhibition games. Player releases will be posted on the team website throughout the tryout/exhibition schedule. All players are guaranteed the first two tryouts. Should you attend tryouts after the first two tryouts you may continue on or be released at anytime. The expected time commitment for the girls & families next season is three times per week which includes one 2 hour practice & 1-2 games. We will enter four tournaments with one or two overnight stays & two local.
The registration cost for Midget A is ($1475.00). This fee pays for all of our game and practice ice. The fee also covers game labels, referees, time keepers and our entry fees into four tournaments including the Stratford tournament. These fees are payable within a schedule and will be collected (post dated cheque) at the parent meeting once the final team has been selected. More details can be found on the Aces website. There will be NO team fundraising. There may be small additional team costs, however these will be voted on by the parent group and must receive executive approval.
The coaching staff will be available following the ice sessions to answer any questions you may have regarding your daughter or the Midget program.
