The Turner Plumbing Peewee BB Aces broke even this weekend as they went on the road to Kitchener and Brampton to finish off the regular season.
The Aces were unable to get by the first place Kitchener Lady Rangers losing 2-0 on Saturday.
On Sunday the Aces took the long road trip to Brampton to face the Canadettes. They made the drive well worth it
winning 4-1. Kenleigh Soper scored Stratford’s first goal with 15.8 seconds left in the first. She was assisted by Sydney Taylor. Soper added a second goal nearing the end of the second period assisted by Morgan Yantzi and Olivia Rau. The third goal came towards the end of the third period from Aveleen Flood, assisted by Rylee Nethercott. With 31.2 seconds left in the game Ella Boersma shot a long puck from the Stratford blue line into the empty net to end the game. The Aces look forward to a tournament next weekend in London.
