Stratford Aces Turner Plumbing Peewee BB home opener prove they aren’t going down without a fight!
The Stratford Aces Peewee BB took the ice with intensity, ready for a fight. The Aces met up with the Woolwich Wild. Woolwich was able to get one on the board. The Aces never gave up though, no matter how hard they tried the puck just wouldn’t bounce in the opposing net during the 1-0 loss. Stratford’s defensive pairings of Rylee Nethercott, Kyleigh Denstedt, Ella Boersma, Charlee Gethke, Olivia Van Straaten and Sydney Taylor stood strong defending the home zone, supporting goaltender Ella Gracey who stood strong protecting the net. The girls look forward to their upcoming season. Next weekend they host Kitchener in town on Saturday and a long drive to face Orangeville on Sunday.
