NotesThe Lakeshore Lightning came to town for the first of many visits this season. The girls, fresh off a great weekend, were ready to play! The first period saw some good chances by our Aces, including a cross bar and a few posts! However, the Lightning snuck one by Mia and went up 1-0 after one. The second period was scoreless but many girls, on both teams, made their way on to the score sheet thanks to their aggressive play! 😉 Finally in the third, Kiara broke loose and put one by the Lakeshore goalie! An assist was given to Lauren on the play. The last few minutes of play saw a flurry of action at both ends. With less than 15 seconds left Kiara sent a puck down the ice for Sadie to chase down. Sadie grabbed it behind the Lightning net and made a great pass out to Ashlyn who was waiting with her stick on the ice to put it in!! Aces win 2-1! Good job, girls! Hopefully the start of a winning streak!!
