Instalment two out of the three games played over a four-day period, saw the girls at home against the St Thomas Panthers. It was clear from the beginning, the teams were well matched as the spectators followed the play from end to end, not unlike a long tennis match. Ending in a 1-1 tie, the lone goal by Emersyn Miller, unassisted, set the stage for the girl’s next and final match in this long weekend of play. Sloan Cameron consistently held off the aggressive panthers holding them at that single goal.
