Notes
The Sit Pretty Custom Grooming Novice C Aces started off against the South Huron Sabres HL with hustle and determination. Olivia Willemsen, Leighton Whetstone and Julia Glitz made sure the Sabres never had the chance to come up the middle and get a shot on net. Reese Campbell was strong on the offensive end as she made a great pass to herself along the boards and narrowly missed the net with a hard shot. Clara Longston also had a hard shot on net but the Sabres goalie was there to cover it up. The lone Aces goal was scored by Mira Broughton who stick handled her way towards the goalie to sneak it over the goal line. Lack of stamina showed in the 3rd period when the Aces just couldn't keep the momentum and hustle going. A few quick goals by the Sabres allowed them to pull away and take home the win. The Aces are back at it tomorrow morning in Belmont.
