Notes
The Sit Pretty Custom Grooming Novice C Aces continued their growth and increasingly strong play in a hard fought 6-1 loss to the North Middlesex Jr Stars C. Julia Glitz and Avree Marshall stood out early skating hard as the Aces really were pushing and hustling and keeping the Stars on their heels. After a tough fluky goal against early, Julia Glitz made a great play to keep the puck in the Stars zone and Mira Broughton outworked her coverage and skated in alone and scored on a nice shot to tie it early. The Aces played hard with Emry Macintosh showing great hustle, Olivia Willemsen digging for pucks and Mira Broughton playing a great 200 foot game. Milana Verellen had good chances with her drive and Edie Murray had a great game on defense. Lilly Harrigan played strong in net and even made an outstanding save on a shot labeled for the top shelf. With all the girls working hard, it was another MVP to the whole team game.
