A draw for the Novice C Aces
The Sit Pretty Custom Grooming Novice C Aces faced off against the Lambeth Lancers C in regular season action.
Julia Glitz opened up the scoring in the first period with an assist from Milana Verellen. Mira Broughton had a good chance during the second period on a breakaway but the Lancers goalie made the stop. Consistent clearing of the puck from Lucy McFarlane, Edie Murray and Ava Langis while Lilly Harrigan made several strong saves in net. In the 3rd period, Mira Broughton tapped it in on a rebound shot from Avree Marshall. Reese Campbell, Olivia Willemsen and Clara Longston played together for the first time and made strong rushes to the net, with Longston getting 2 hard shots that were narrowly saved by the Lancers goalie. Her hustle earned her MVP (Ace) of the game.
