Novice C's Recent Successes and Learning Opportunities
A Fifth Straight Regular Season Win and an Opportunity for Learning in a Tournament in South Huron

The Novice C aces are rolling into Christmas with their fifth straight regular season win under their belts and a tournament which provided a good challenge to the team from teams placed in higher WOGHL divisions.

The girls defeated the Huron Heat in their own barn 6-1 on Saturday Dec 2 and now find themselves in a dead heat at the top of division 3 tied with 10 points with their rivals the B.A.D. Blazers whom they face off against this Sunday in Belmont.  This game would provide the litmus test for the girls massive improvement this season as they have not faced the Blazers since a 9-1 defeat very early in the season in October.

The girls traveled to South Huron last weekend to take part in their annual tourney.  The girls faced off against some higher level WOGHL division teams and worked diligently on improving team passing, positioning, back checking, and team perseverance. Gianna Nickel and Reese Flanagan walked away with MVP honours providing inspired offensive and defensive play.  Overall team support could not be greater and that was reflected well by the girls spirited pre-game rituals and post game fan support.
