Aces Propel to top of Division over Heat in Saturday Matinee
Nyenhuis with 5, 2 for Cameron, a First for Langis and one from Wheal in an offensive show of force
The Novice C girls hosted the Huron Heat Saturday afternoon in front of a supportive home crowd. With Maeve Moss in goal the team's continued focus on positional play was on full display and paid it's dividends for this increasingly confident squad. Game MVP Pippa Nyenhuis' persistent and tenacious play help her find the net 5 times while Jule Cameron found some late game legs and netted 2 goals while her line mates Katie Wheal and Ava Langis added one. For Langis it was her first as an Ace! The Girls now lead the 3rd division of the WOGHL with 6 points, two points ahead of the formidable B.A.D Blazers whom the Aces face mid-way through December.
