Aces Hold Line Against Sabres in Rubber Match
Flanagan Records Second Straight League Game Shutout Against Division Rivals
The Novice C Aces hosted the South Huron Sabres Friday night on home ice for the last of an exciting home and home and home 3 game series. With Reese Flanagan wearing the pads the Aces blue line led by game MVP Adele Helson along with Avery Stokes, Brinlee Wall and Maeve Moss continued their suppression of the Sabres attack on the blue line. Katie Wheal provided the goal to lift the girls past their division rivals and to find themselves tied for the division lead in division 3 of the WOGHL.
The girls host the Huron Heat on Saturday and travel to Parkhill to face the Jr. Stars on Sunday.
