Aces Tourney Provides Learning Opportunities for Novice C
The November 17-19 The Stratford Aces Festival Cup provided a platform for the girls to continue to build their game
Coach John Hruden and his assistants have continued to stick to player development, positioning, focus and intensity as Ava Langis, Cadence McKee and Maeve Moss rose to the top of their team taking respective post game MVP honours. The girls were in tough with their opponents throughout the weekend but came out with goals from Pippa Nyenhuis and her line-mate Gianna Nickel.
Katie Wheal, Ava Langis and Jule Cameron received some local press promoting the growth and success of girls hockey in Stratford, job well done!
The Novice C's return to their regular season schedule Friday night hosting their divisional rivals the South Huron in the last of a three game series rubber match. Saturday, they host the Huron Heat, and Sunday the girls travel to Parkhill to meet the North Middlesex Junior Stars.
