Provincial Playdowns
The All Equip Repair & Service Stratford BB Aces picked the perfect time to go on a roll. The Provincial playdowns are under way and have them in a round robin tournament against the South Huron Sabres and the Huron Heat.
The first two games they had a home and away versus the Sabres. Both games were identical in score and style. The Aces used their speed and defensive skills and skated to 0-0 ties. In the next game they traveled to Seaforth to take on the Heat. Just like their games against the Sabres the Aces were in a fast pasted back and forth game. In the 2nd period Addisyn Reinecker laser shot found the back of the net and ended up to be the winner in the 1-0 victory. Goaltending, defense and constant pressure by the forwards helped the girls earn 4 points so far with 1 game remaining. On Tuesday March 6th at 6pm @ the RBC they will be finishing the round robin games against the Sabres. The Aces need a win or a tie to move on to the provincial tournament. Lets fill our barn and cheer the Aces to victory.
