Stratford Aces Tournament
The All Equip Repair & Service Peewee BB hosted a tournament this weekend which ended with a 1-2-1 record for the girls. After the 4 games the aces ended with 6 goals for and 6 goals against showing how well they battled all weekend.

Game 1 Friday morning they battled Lambton. A first period goal by Alyssa Eidt and assisted by Belle Houle put the Aces ahead early but was answered in the 3rd to end in a 1-1 tie. Sienna Wildgust was solid in the net with her defensive teammates aiding her when called upon. Game 2 Friday afternoon the Aces faced Belmont. A back and forth game saw them lose 3-2. The solid back checking by the forwards kept this game close. Goals were scored by Addisyn Reinecker and Sarah Weiler. Saturday morning welcomed Owen Sound to the RBC and the Aces skated to a 3-0 victory. The girls scored in all three periods with goals by Sarah Weiler, Shauna Everett and Alyssa Eidt and were assisted by Eidt, Sydney Taylor, Alia Poirier, Weiler and Hailey Scott. Sienna Wildgust got the well deserved shotout with her teammates playing a great defensive game and capitalizing on their chances. The girls final game of the tournament had them going against South Huron. A hard battled game ended in a 2-0 loss but saw them all working well as a team. This was the first tournament of the year for the girls and it showed that they can skate with all their opponents. It was a good bonding session for the Aces and the future of this team is looking bright. Congrats girls and keep playing like the Aces you are.
