First Win for PeeWee A
After a lot of close battles the Dunny's PeeWee A team fights their way to their first win of the season.

Last weekend they had a double header down in Chatham on Saturday, where they tied both games 0-0 and 2-2. Then a game against Lakeshore where they fell short 1-0 in another close game.
After going 0-1-2 on their road trip last weekend down south, the PeeWee A girls found themselves in another double header this Sunday against the Chatham Outlaws.
The first game the girls out played and out shot the Outlaws 20-12, but could only find the netting once compared to the 2 goals by Chatham. Thus loosing 2-1.
Determined to find their first win they came out ready to show Chatham what they were really capable of.  However, 30 seconds in they found themselves down 1 after a deflected point shot by Chatham.  There was still a lot of time left for the girls to find their way back in the game.  They fought hard and out chanced Chatham through the first, but the period ended with Chatham still up 1-0.
After their teammate "Chan" was injured during the first period and had to leave the game. The girls were told to go out there and and win the game for her.  The second period was al Stratford and the girls first found the net when Madi "Maddog" Cardno passed back to Jacklyn "Jack" Hettinga at the point, who fired a deflected shot hard into the net. This trend would continue after the Outlaws were given their third penalty of the game.  On the power play, Maddog would find the net herself on a play that included some fantastic passing with her linemates Meg Feorre and Anna Tiganni.  The period would end with the Aces up 2-1.
The third was another battle that would have the Aces out playing the Outlaws, but neither team would find the net again.
With a final score of 2-1 The Dunny's PeeWee A Aces team would find their first victory of the regular season!
Bring that fight and effort to every game here on out and we should see a lot more wins girls.
Great Job Girls.
