Another Tough Battle
One game this weekend where the Dunny's PeeWee A team would see the London Majors come to Stratford on Sunday.
The girls were working on some areas at practice this week and were prepared to have another go at the majors.
The girls got off to a rough start and had trouble keeping the puck on their stick for the the first 5 minutes. They then settled in and made it out of the first period with a 0-0 score.
London took a couple of penalties in the second and the Aces took control of the play for most of the period. They had their best chances to score, but the period would end still tied at 0-0.
The third period was a good back and forth effort by both teams, however London would find the net with about 5 minutes left in the game. Try as they might the girls were not able to get one back and the game would end 1-0 in London's favour.
It was an improvement from last week, with a better score against, and that is all we are asking from the girls. "Keep getting better every time you step on the ice!"
Next week travel south for two against Chatham, and one against Lakeshore. If we play they way we can it should be a good weekend.
