Novice Girls Start on Winning Note
The Stratford Perth Auto Dismantlers Novice B Aces started their year on the road in an exhibition game against the Cambridge Roadrunners. Nerves were high in the dressing room prior to the start of the game and the jitters continued through the first period as Cambridge was holding a one goal lead. Once the girls started to settle into the game the aces started playing as a team with exceptional passing and hustle by every player.

Chloe Rison played solid for all three periods making critical saves throughout. The first goal of the year was scored by Emersyn Miller who racked up a total of six points in the game. Other scorers included Eve Binns (2) and Jayda Houben who had one goal and one assist. Also playing a great offensive games were Chloe Schultz, Keira Blaine and Linley Porter who both had several opportunities to score. The defensive effort by Niamh Appel, Krista McMahon and Claire Donnelly kept scoring chances from the Roadrunners to a minimum and allowed the puck easy transition out of the defensive zone.
